AFP Golden Gate Chapter Announces 2025–26 Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Fellows
The AFP Golden Gate Chapter is proud to announce the 2025–26 cohort of its Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Fellowship. This year-long program supports fundraisers from underrepresented communities—including fundraisers of color (African American, Latinx, Hispanic, Asian), LGBTQ+ and gender nonconforming individuals, Indigenous fundraisers, and other emerging professionals from marginalized backgrounds.
Launched in 2021, the IDEA Fellowship was designed to recruit, retain, and mentor diverse fundraisers in the Bay Area. The program helps break down barriers to participation in AFP Golden Gate and encourages Fellows to become active members—and future leaders—within the organization.
Fellows receive comprehensive training and professional development, along with opportunities to network, engage with leaders in the philanthropic sector, and take on meaningful leadership experiences. Through the program, they build fundraising capacity, strengthen their impact, and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future for the nonprofit sector.
We are thrilled to welcome the 2025–26 IDEA Fellows:
