What We Do

Who We Are
Founded in 1971, AFP Golden Gate has about 500 active members across the Bay Area — including development professionals, communications leaders, executive directors, consultants, coaches, and board members. Ours is a welcoming and inclusive chapter with strong volunteer engagement: more than 20% of members actively serve on the board, committees, or as mentors.
We’re also deeply committed to IDEA — Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access — applying these values across our governance, programming, leadership, and member participation.
