Gift Processing, Data Entry, and Gift Acknowledgement

  • Performs daily entry and coding of gifts, including cash, checks, running credit cards and non-gifts credit card charges.
  • Coordinates data flow from outside gift processor Engage to EveryAction, downloads files, encrypts, and posts to EA SFTP. Handles any exceptions or issues with the import. Processes Engage flags that need special handling in DonorView.
  • Coordinates the acknowledgment process
  • Coordinates any other stewardship premium mailings
  • Leads in relationship with the outside acknowledgement processing firm.
  • Provides excellent customer service to Donors and individuals contacting the organization via email, phone call or mail.  Troubleshoots obstacles as needed.
  • Database Management
  • Maintains donor records in the donor database, including review of duplicate records and other processes, to ensure a high level of file health for successful fundraising.
  • Performs weekly/recurring database maintenance tasks.
  • Assists in audits and other data clean-up/management efforts

Donor Relations

  • Responds in a timely manner to all inquiries and special requests from donors and supporters; triages inquiries not related to donations and works to insure that all inquiries are properly handled by the most appropriate League staff person.
  • Records all interactions with donors in EveryAction.

Additional Support

  • Cross trains on all Development Services Coordinator work.
  • Provides administrative support in the Development Department as needed.
  • Other annual giving projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High proficiency with data entry and familiar with Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel, as well as SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Experience working in a CRM. Experience with EveryAction and Engage DonorView a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work as a team member.

  • Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people across cultures, ethnic groups, and identities

Work Schedule:
This role is hybrid with a minimum of 1-2 days onsite in our San Francisco headquarters per week. Our weekly in office day is Tuesday (when everyone living in the SF Bay Area is required to come in). Additional days are based on business needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

As a full-time hourly employee, you will be eligible for full benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, three weeks of vacation annually plus holidays, and a 401k retirement plan, currently with an up to 8% company match. We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience and internal/external equity considerations; the hiring range for this position is $57,000-$60,000 per year.
