Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze pre-existing materials and data relevant to the capital campaign.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the campaign’s vision, goals, and unique selling points.
- Develop a clear, concise, and compelling case for support that effectively communicates the importance and impact of the campaign.
- Infuse the document with emotional appeal to connect with potential donors on a personal level.
- Ensure the case for support aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to the document
- Oversee development of materials through production including graphic design
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in writing cases for support, grant proposals or similar fundraising documents.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into a clear and engaging narrative.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and donor psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Temple Sinai, Reform Judaism, Jewish community, or faith-based fundraising – a plus.
