KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Management and Production

Work in coordination with the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Development and key members of the SFCJL staff to plan and execute small and medium-sized events that cultivate strong relationships, enhance brand perception and engage and steward donors and prospects.
Lead and support the goals of larger scale fundraising events, including the annual Golf Tournament and a larger scale gala in 2024. Manage event budgets, in-kind contributions, event sponsorships, vendors and volunteers.
Manage components of the decades-long tradition of monthly birthday luncheons for residents and their family members.
In partnership with Development Officer - Communications and Grants, support the production of event invitations and marketing.
Campaign Management

Project manage twice-annual, multi-channel (print and digital) appeals including timeline, budget, mailing list and strategies that reach all constituencies. Lead list segmentation, tracking, reporting and analysis.
Create and execute tailored stewardship plans, using moves management best practices to strengthen relationships, retain donors, and increase support over time.
Screen and prepare profiles of current and prospective major donors. With Chief Development Officer and Director of Development, create engagement plans to move donors through a solicitation and stewardship cycle. Utilize SFCJL’s new Salesforce database to assign and monitor action items.
Cultivate and steward a portfolio of low to mid-range donors with a focus on retaining and welcoming new donors and re-engaging lapsed donors.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of work experience preferred.
CRM database experience (Salesforce strongly preferred)
Self-starter, motivated, and able to take initiative in all situations
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong technical skills and with ability to work proficiently across multiple applications, and software
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines

Able to work frequently at our San Francisco campus, with flexibility for remote work.
Salary: $75-95K, commensurate with experience
