Key duties and responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:
Planning, writing and submitting well-conceived and compelling grant letters of inquiry, proposals and reports
Growing IOA’s funding base through prospect research on foundation, corporate, and government sources
Working closely with the Philanthropy team to coordinate and implement strategies for reaching fundraising goals
Coordinating with Database Manager regarding all grant activities to maintain and update foundation, corporate, and government constituent records in Raiser’s Edge, and department records (electronic and hard filess
Monitoring proposal deadlines, preparing/editing proposals and managing proposal submissions.
Overseeing the preparation of grant proposals to foundations, trusts, corporations and other organizations by developing highly competitive proposals for foundation and corporate prospects and leveraging diverse foundation and corporate goals and preferences in conjunction with IOA goal
Range: $ 95,000 – 115,000/annual
